It shall be a constant part of our culture to remember and to remind each other why we participate in the Empire. Recalling that while this Empire, this Kingdom, this Duchy, and its constituent groups are all constructs in a hobby, all are populated by living, feeling people who are our neighbors, playmates, and for the most part, our friends. Many are or will become our chosen family. As such, our game is the expression of the inner child in each of us longing for a better world in a better time. A world that perhaps exists only in our hearts. Yet our hobby and the great times we have through it are a shared vision and group experience all of us are in together. Thus, we must BE the better people who populate the world we wish existed and, in all things, seen by all or by none, act always to uphold our vision and display the Honor that makes this wonderful world that never quite was a living, vibrant place even if only for a few short days now and then. So, we remember and remind all often: Be Excellent.
